RETURN POLICIES


Sellers on NairaMarkets.com offer returns for items within 30days of receipt of shipment.

Mistaken Returns

Ensure you enclose the correct and complete item when making a return. The correct item must be returned to receive a refund. NairaMarkets.com does not store items mistakenly sent to us. If you accidentally sent the wrong item to nairamarkets.com, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. nairamarkets.com cannot guarantee your item will be found and returned, and no compensation is provided for incorrect items sent to nairamarkets.com.

Seller Return Policy

When you order from a seller that fulfills and ships its own inventory (also called a third-party seller), your return is sent back to the seller instead of nairamarkets.com. While most sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to nairamarkets.com, some seller returns policies may vary. You can view the return policy of the seller before you purchase an item by viewing the Returns and Refunds Policy section of the seller profile page. To view the seller's return policy, once you've ordered, you can select your order in the Returns Center. Third-party sellers must either provide a return address within or outside Nigeria, provide a prepaid return label, or offer a full refund without requesting the item be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file a claim with nairamarkets.com to seek help with your return. If you are sending the item within Nigeria and the order is valued at N50,000.00 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. Items valued over N20,000.00 must be returned to the seller with a trackable shipping service. For items below N20,000.00 we suggest Fulfillment delivery confirmation service. If a package doesn't arrive and you don't use a trackable method to return or if you refuse the shipment as a method of return, we may not be able to cover you under nairamarkets.com Guarantee.

Delivery with Services:

  • Returns or exchanges for items purchased from a third-party seller that provided a Delivery with Service (in-home unpacking, installation, assembly, etc.) have to be scheduled by the seller.
  • During the scheduled return pick-up, the seller will uninstall or disassemble, and pick up the item.
  • All sellers participating in the Delivery with Services program are required to support scheduled return pickups or exchanges.
  • If a seller does not offer these methods or is non-responsive to scheduling an appointment to return your items, you may contact the nairamarkets.com Home Services team, or file a claim with nairamarkets.com
  • If a Delivery with Services item is missing parts or damaged through customer misuse, the customer may be charged a restocking fee based on the condition of the product.
Fresh and Grocery Items

Grocery items and wine are not returnable to nairamarkets.com but may be refunded or replaced by the seller.

Handmade Products

Products sold by Handmade Makers are subject to the standard Guarantee policies for nairamarkets.com. The exception to this are items that are purchased with optional customization options, other than size and color. See Customized Products for additional details.

Photos

Photos or printed products are not returnable to nairamarkets.com but may be refunded or replaced by seller.

Pharmacy

We're unable to accept returns. If you notice any quality-related issues like errors of tampering with an order you have received, please contact Customer Care immediately.

Baby Items

We're unable to accept returns. If you notice any quality-related issues like errors of tampering with an order you have received, please contact Customer Care immediately.

Birthday Gift List

Clothing and Accessories

We're unable to accept returns. If you notice any quality-related issues like errors of tampering with an order you have received, please contact Customer Care immediately.

Collectibles
  • You must return collectible items with a value of N20,000.00 or more using a trackable method. Items with a value more than N250,000.00, must also be insured.
  • All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
  • Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.
Customized Products

Customized products include products that are configured, personalized, or inscribed, for example, engravings, stamps, monograms, embroidery, embossing, etching, carving, or printing. Customized products sold by third-party sellers fall under the 3PS Guarantee. To file a claim for these items please note the following:

  • Notification to the third-party seller within 14 days of receipt of item for return.
  • Due to personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, the third-party seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged/defective upon arrival, or materially different from what was ordered.
  • If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the third-party seller, you are protected per 3PS Guarantee.
  • All product packaging (such as boxes) and if applicable; certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. Products missing all their applicable tags are not acceptable for return.
Digital Products
  • Unless otherwise specified, games, software downloads, and purchases from the nairamarkets.com Appstore, the nairamarkets.com Digital Music store, the nairamarkets.com Video store are not returnable after purchase.
  • Books purchased from the Readersworld Store can be returned within seven days of purchase. Once a refund is issued, you can't have access to the book.
  • Readersworld books you receive as a gift are eligible for exchange for a nairamarkets.com Gift Card before acceptance.
  • Subscriptions to titles in the Newsstand section of the Readersworld Store (magazines, newspapers, and blogs) can be canceled at any time by visiting Manage Your Content and Devices.
  • Apps and In-App Products purchased from the nairamarkets.com Appstore may be eligible for a refund within 90 days of purchase, depending on the circumstances of your order. To request a refund, visit Your Orders and select "Return for Refund" next to that order. If you do not see a "Return for Refund" button, you are not eligible for a refund for that order.
  • Digital educational resources can be returned within seven days of purchased for a resource that has not yet been downloaded.
Fine Art
  • Fine Art items with a value of N20,000.00 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method. Items with a value more than N250,000.00 must also be insured.
  • All product packaging (boxes, etc.) and certificates of authenticity and appraisal must be returned with the item.
  • Any Fine Art item returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • Any Fine Art items that have been damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery, won't be accepted for return.
  • Before sending a Fine Art return, photograph the item for your records.
Furniture
  • We're unable to accept returns. If you notice any quality-related issues like errors of tampering with an order you have received, please contact Customer Care immediately.
  • nairamarkets.com will contact the manufacturer for product registration and warranty-related information.
Gift Cards
  • Gift Cards are not returnable after purchase (except as required by law).

Hazardous Materials
  • Hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases are not returnable
  • nairamarkets.com will contact the manufacturer directly for service, warranty, return, and refund information.
Jewelry and Watches
  • Jewelry and watch items with a value of N20,000.00 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method.
  • Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • Items that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery won't be accepted for return.
Live Plants or Insects
  • Fresh flowers, live indoor plants, or insects are not returnable
Luxury Stores

The following guidelines apply to all return-eligible Luxury Stores products, and returns that fail to adhere to these guidelines may be rejected.

  • Beauty products made of hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases, are not returnable. These products will not display a ‘'free returns’' message on the product detail page.
  • Luxury Store products must be returned in new, unused, and unaltered condition. This includes any attached tags (product tags and security tags), and where applicable, hygiene seals.
  • Product packaging and documentation should also be returned with Luxury Stores products. For packaging, we seek the brand packaging (provided by the luxury brand directly, different from the Luxury Stores packaging). For product documentation, this includes any certificates of authenticity, grading, warranty cards.
  • Items must be returned using the return label we provide. In rare cases where a return label is not provided, items must be returned using a trackable ship method and be insured for the value of the merchandise and shipped with a signature shipping service.
  • If we have concerns with authenticity or the condition of the return, we may provide a longer return processing window to evaluate with the brand owner, and this may impact the timing of any applicable refund.
Pet Food
  • Pet food and similar products are not returnable to nairamarkets.com, but may be refundable.
Software and Video Games
  • Software and video games can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Returned software or video games that are activated, used, or missing parts will incur up to a 100% restocking fee.
Tickets
  • Tickets are not returnable after purchase.
